Unique Breast Cancer Predictor

A British study finds that breasts of different size is a predictor of breast cancer. (Men, tell your wives tonight that you don't want sex, but you want to perform a medical checkup!)

Diane Scutt, a researcher from the University of Liverpool, compared the mammograms of 252 women who later developed breast cancer with those of a control group of the same size who did not get cancer. They found that the women who got cancer were more likely to have breasts of different size and that the risk of cancer increased with the difference in size. However, there was no mention as to other potential factors that could contribute to the breast cancer, so I don't know how much stock to put in the survey.

The study was published Monday in the journal Breast Cancer Research.
